Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Low miles from a franchised dealer.
What was the dealer like?
Amateur. I went to the Crawley BMW garage. I've never seen such an ungracefull bartering defeat by a salesman. He was like a sulking child. It had a few stone chips, the touch up paint of which was on the same salesmans hand on the collection handshake. Poor, but who cares though, bargain car and i'll take it to a closer BWM garage for any work.In comparison I took somebody to pick up a Toyota recently and was treated like royalty as a guest. Come on BMW tut tut.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent. Economic. Loads of torque on tap. You dont realise how fast you are going as its so quiet and refined. Cruise control is also easy to use. Cornering is excellent and feels very safe and robust. Turning circle isnt that big. The gears are good but I have to say I thought my old passat had smoother gears.
What's it like to park?
Big car but the turning circle is good and the rear parking sensors do the rest.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. I have owned some of the most pitiful and unreliable cars ever circulated. The fact that it simply turns on, and doesnt give me a firework display of warning lights has been worth every oenny so far.
What's most practical about your car?
The rear parking sensors, huge boot, aux in port and the amazingly fuel economy, sturdy build of everything in and on it. This is the efficient dynamics 177bhp diesel. I think the diesel tank us 61litres? It costs £77 to fill up from empty at present. On a 42 miles a day round trip on a road trip for a tank of diesel it gave me 800 miles. Granted not constant fast driving but this is without the engine start stop in traffic working which is turned off on my car. Another tank gave me 700 miles which was a combo of regular very short 14 mile urban trips and a 200+ mile trip from Wales from the South coast and back.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The aux in is a simple but great accessory. Two cup holders in the dash are very useful.
