What does this car say about you?

I'm a typical middle aged bloke who can now afford to drive a nice looking car that is not designed for its practicality. It probably suggests I am a poser at my age.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Friends and neighbours love the look of the car. It stands out in LeMans Blue. The 19 inch alloys and the M Sport Body Kit really add to its stance.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would, mainly because I enjoy driving it as much as I do looking at it.

Probably another BMW.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Having spent months looking for one of these in this spec and then finding one with low mileage it was a case of buying it now and never finding another one better.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I loved the look of it. It was the right colour with the specification I had been looking for.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer saw me looking at the car, came out, gave me the keys and left me to look over it. No pressure whatsoever. Nice clean dealership with a huge stock of quality cars. Easy to do business with, good RAC warranty and picked the car up next day.

What's it like to drive?

Its great fun but I wouldn't have the M Sport if I did a lot of miles. The hard suspension can be jaw breaking if you hit a pothole and uneven road surfaces get on your nerves after a while. However, on smooth twisty roads there's nothing better.

What's it like to park?

I find parking is easy. Just remember that the front is very low and to stay back from high kerbs. The reversing sensors work a treat.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I changed the Nitrogen Oxide Sensor on it as it was causing the EML to come on intermittently. I also changed the end of the seatbelt handover mechanism as the belt was slipping off. Otherwise no issues with the car.

What's most practical about your car?

It has a huge boot for a Coupe.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The Steptronic gearbox is my favourite gadget. Fine in normal auto mode. Great fun in Sport mode and the option of using it in Semi-Auto mode if you feel so inclined.
