What does this car say about you?

I bought it because I liked it,the brand,the quality etc. I'm not sure it says much about me,except as my very 1st new car(maybe only one?),I tried to spec it as I wished,& that I don't subsequently change things simply for the need to change.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Those who like & appreciate cars,like it;partly because,despite being over 7 years old,it is in pretty good condition,so can almost look new when cleaned. My children love going in it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Unsure-it is low,hence I have scraped it once or twice,even when being careful. I also think that sometimes it may be worthwhile having a less desirable car,that i would worry about less(wrt getting damaged etc). Other issues include runnning costs. I have enjoyed it to date.

What are you likely to buy next?

Not really planning to change,but if/when I do,I may look at a 4*4,or possibly a small car just for work.

Did you get a good deal and why?

They discounted on the car,but refused to discount on the extras. Overall I think I did get a good deal;there was some pressure- I was asked when i asked for a quote.how serious i was in buying the car.I was told that I was getting the same discount as a corporate customer.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Felt it suited my needs at the time the best;was looking for a prestige vehicle;had always wanted a 6 cylinder car.

What was the dealer like?

Generally good,polite though once the manager gave his final discount,he simply told the staff that that was the final offer & not to go any lower-he then walked away,which I did feel was quite arrogant. I also felt that once I had signed for it,the Dealers became quite disinterested in things afterwards(I tried to change the spec of the car-actually wanting an upgrade-a few days later but was told that this couldn't be done as the car was already being built).

What's it like to drive?

The engine's pokey enough for me & is smoother the faster I go in it. It can corner as if on rails. It has 19 inch alloys with run flats,& the ride is quite hard & took a long time to get used to.

What's it like to park?

Not too bad-I have front & rear sensors so always use them when parking. Visibility isn't great rearwards but i always look at the space I park in & listen to the sensors.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Very little;mine doesn't have I-drive(at the time I think there were gremlins with the system & I was happy without it). I have to be honest,the reliability has been pretty good.

What's most practical about your car?

Although a 2 door coupe,it can & has,taken 4 fully grown adults quite easily,which was at the time unusual for a Prestige German coupe at that price point.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated seats.
