What does this car say about you?
According to my better half "less of a prat than when I had a Porsche...but still a prat".
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Hmm maybe. It's not been terribly reliable and I'm thinking perhaps Jaguar XF.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Car was a very good price compared with non-franchised dealer that were currently on the market, was very low mileage and came with one year BMW warranty.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted a compromise between my previous Z4M and a 320d. It seems the perfect all rounder.
What was the dealer like?
Ok until money changed hands then didn't want to know. Very unprofessional aftercare.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent. Torque is superb and makes overtaking safe and rapid. Unusal BMW handling. 19" run-flat tyres are a pain on bad roads though and can make the car twitchy. Traction control is unusually unhappy under hard acceleration on all but the smoothest of the roads as the torque makes it wonderfully tail happy!
What's it like to park?
Easy. Sensors all over the place and auto tilting mirrors make it almost impossible to muck up unless you're my missus.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Plenty - warning lights are as regular as clockwork but nothing serious and all covered under warranty. Type pressure warning lights on journey home due to corroded alloy wheels. Faulty sensor causing problems with ABS and traction control. It's my third BMW and by a long way the most unreliable. M cars have been more dependable.
What's most practical about your car?
Big boot, comfortable interior. Can easily make long journeys feel a breeze.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise is very good, Bluetooth is excellent with voice control. Parking sensors, sunroof, under light door handles and auto tilting mirrors to see kerbs.
