BMW 3-Series M3 Coupe 2d (1993/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Bought an A1 '93 model with well-below-average miles and full BMW service history for under £10k. Bargain.
Costs
BMW main dealer servicing costs are pricey, though preferable for future re-sale value. Likes petrol... a lot.

On the road
Driving
A lot of fun. Fast, with responsive steering and tremendous braking capabilities. Fantastic sense of control. Best on the open road.
Performance
Very, very quick. Lots of power through all the gears.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable, if properly maintained.
Image
It's an M3, isn't it? Maybe not brand new, but still an M3.
Comfort
Great front seats which can be manipulated in all directions (who cares about rear passengers?) Full electrics. Standard '93 spec without air con.

Security and Service
Security
Standard BMW alarm and immobiliser. Fit a tracker and good alloy wheel locks.
Service
Good main dealer customer service (until the bill arrives).
