What does this car say about you?
It attracts lots of admiring and envious glances. makes me feel 20 years younger when I'm at the wheel.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends and family like the car because it is smooth comfortable and very rapid.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would definitely by another M3. However i intend to enjoy this one for many years first.
What are you likely to buy next?
Next generation M3 with the V8 engine!

Paid franchised dealer prices, but got a bmw warranty and the pick of the best cars.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
reputation+performance
What was the dealer like?
Cooper, Chobham. Very attentive, until I had taken delivery, then unhelpful! Changed to local BMW dealer; much better.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
heavy clutch and heavy duty gearbox makes it a challenge in town, but you get used to it. Once out of town, the acceleration, and handling are awesome. Way above my driving ability, but can be driven gently when required. Very refined and comfortable .
What's it like to park?
Rear parking sensors make parking easy

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Supplying dealer was supposed to have checked the car, but when I had it mot' d two months later, it failed on a broken rear spring and an illegal tyre! These problems were sorted by local dealer. 1 year after i bought it the engine O2 sensor failed, and it was replaced by my dealer. This part failed again soon afterwards and was replaced free of charge. BMW were supplied with a faulty batch apparently. Since then no further problems.
What's most practical about your car?
A supercar with 5 seats and a boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The SPORT button. It sharpens the response of the throttle and turns it into a rocket ship!
