BMW 3-Series Saloon 320i SE 4d (1992/J) Owner Review

Economy
Value
A very good car at affordable prices. Everything about a BMW spells "good value".
Costs
Dealer costs are extortionate! After 100,000 miles I recommend a BMW Specialist. Just as rewarding at half the price.

On the road
Driving
Very rewarding to drive in dry weather. Unfortunately lost it in the wet and ended up writing it off!
Performance
I found the 24valve engine to be very good. However even with 150bhp the weight of the car means it gets spanked by the GTis of this world!

Living with it
Reliability
Took the engine up to 164,000 and it only failed to start for me once. God knows why, but it never happened again - strange.
Image
It's a beemer ain't it. What more do you have to say? Anybody who doesn't want to own one is a liar!
Comfort
Drove it everywhere and even at 164K it was still a very smooth ride.

Security and Service
Security
Be aware. There is a quick release mechanism for the drivers door under the door handle cover. This is how the robbers broke into my car and stole the stereo. Alarm didn't go off either.
