BMW 3-Series Saloon (1991-1998) boot space, practicality and safety

(change model)
Good for its age, almost all models have ABS but earliest cars may have no airbags at all and some were retro-fitted. Passenger airbags generally optional and side bags only optional on the later models. No Euro NCAP rating. Good immobiliser fitted from 1992 onwards.
The saloon has a boot that will meet the needs of most. The rear seat does not fold flat, which makes some family jobs nearly impossible (a big trip to the DIY store, for example), so if you need greater capacity, perhaps consider the Touring model with its estate back.
