Summary
What does this car say about you?
Who knows... I know BMW drivers used to have a bad reputation. But I love them, so who cares.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All seem to like it. My nephew especially likes to pose hehe. Most remark on the colour as its a pastel green.. 'WOW! a BMW that isn't boring silver or black' hehe.
Would you buy this car again and why?
YES!!!! I am hooked on BMW. Yes parts can be pricey, but you seldom need to buy any!
What are you likely to buy next?
BMW 3-series Coupe

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,200
When did you buy the car?
June 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
It wasn't the cheapest BMW in the line up I went to see. But there was good reason. The condition of the car was almost spotless. Just a tiny couple of light scratches on the rear bumper that were easily removed. Very good considering the age of the car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted a reliable car after many awful Ford & French rubbish.
What was the dealer like?
The staff at the garage were very friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Didn't feel pressured at all. All cars were well presented & cared for, unlike many other 2nd hand dealers I went to.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The feel of the solid car, the drive, the handling, even the atmosphere. If you've ever driven/owned a BMW you know it really is something special. I tried to kid myself that a Mk4 Mondy would be up to the job... Noooo. Nothing comes close for the price. Once you've owned one, you're hooked for life ;)
What's it like to park?
Very easy to park compared to the Mondy I had before, although I guess because its slightly smaller.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
As with my previous BMW, nothing 'touch wood' has gone wrong. It's absolutely wonderful to know & trust that your car will take you from A to B, unlike the disastrous Fords & French cars I had before.
What's most practical about your car?
Big enough for great comfort, but small enough to park easily.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate control. Set the temp and no need to touch anything thereafter. Warms the interior on a cold morning & cools it down in the afternoon fab.
