Stylish, And a desire for the nicer things in life, That's what we work for isn't it?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love It. Cannot believe a 6 cylinder diesel could be so economical 47MPG from a 204BHP car and 38MPG on a school run.
Would you buy this car again and why?
If BMW had not followed the path of building most of their saloons and estates to look all the same then yes.
What are you likely to buy next?
After 2 1/2 years of owning the 330D E46, We've bought an Audi A4 S/line Estate. 143 BHP, Supprisingly Quick, only time will tell, We will miss the BMW though.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Got a good deal as father in law bought the New 330d, He got the better deal with no trade in and I got the car I loved.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was my father in laws car, got it cheaper than from dealer, Loved the style, power and looks. In my opinion the best BMw ever made.
What was the dealer like?
Used own local dealer for sevicing and MOT's, Great experience and suprisingly low service costs.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It makes you smile when you switch to sport mode and accelerate, the roar of the finely tune six cylinder power plant is awesome. hard ride, But not moaning it's an M Sport not a taxi.
What's it like to park?
No problem to park, just sometimes when looking for spaces to park the rear view mirror is in your line of forward vision, but can live with that.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only ever replaced two rear view mirror glasses as they started to tarnish and one of the rear park sensors. Cheap motoring from a 204 bhp car.
What's most practical about your car?
The 3 series E46 is not too big and with rear park sensors you can put it anywhere.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Favorite Gadgets, Tiptronic G/Box, auto rain sensors, Auto lights. Bluetooth phone kit built in. CD Multi changer. and on and on.
