What does this car say about you?
Well, contrary to Jeremy Clarkson's comments ;-) I believe it says that the driver is someone who is a car enthusiast without being a boy racer, who enjoys a more sophisticated, quality style of performance without spending all one's money on fuel.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Great looker and oozing quality and image, whatever that means.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Defintely for all the reasons I have given plus I understand they get only better.
What are you likely to buy next?
A bus pass! BM naturally and no, I don't work for Munich...

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I love the looks, quality and driving sensation of decent BMWs, especially 3 series. The fact that it was diesel AND automatic/triptronic with around 200BHP clinched it.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Beautiful. Smooth and eager to pull at any engine revs. Car stays flat during hard cornering and just grips. Excellent steering weighting. Pure quality.
What's it like to park?
Very easy to see out of and around and has rear parking sensor distance control, easy peasy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It has proven to be very reliable. Always starts first time and never misses a beat, probably go and try and start now and it fails, all your fault!
What's most practical about your car?
Brilliant turbo diesel engine and perfectly matched auto gearbox. Car is very quick and economical at the same time with a relaxing drive thrown in, what more could you want?
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Engine, gearbox and suspension, although a little hard in the M Sport pack that mine has. Auto adjusting rear view mirror, darkens when some berk behind has badly adjusted blinding lights. Can't live without one now.
