Nice car, family who also drive it agree that it is let down by small niggling faults.

No, BMW do not seem to offer the premium service they would have people believe.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I paid a fair price for the vehicle although some dealers are then reluctant to honour the services paid for when buying an approved used vehicle.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Salesman professional. Vehicle as described.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good drive, holds the road well and has a good torque band.
What's it like to park?
Easy enough due to rear parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Various faults in the first year of ownership; Headunit display pixels stopped working, replaced under warranty. Leaking headlamp unit, eventually repaired under warranty after a lengthy discussion with the dealer who didn't have proper knowledge of the warranty scheme. Auxiliary drive belt tensioner replaced under warranty. Water leak from a door membrane seal that took over 8 weeks to diagnose and repair.
