What does this car say about you?
Dont care what it says about me - thats not why I buy a car. Yes it looks good, yes its expensive and yes people hate bmw's but who cares. If you can afford a premium brand you buy it otherwise we would all shop at lidl and tk max !
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
love it, especially in le mans blue, looks fantastic when it is polished.
Would you buy this car again and why?
no - too underpowered for me but it is my wifes car so I am sure she would as she loves it
What are you likely to buy next?
possibly a 3 litre or 2.5 litre petrol. I hate diesels, i understand there benefits, i have owned one but they all sound like transit vans at low speeds, especially at mcdonalds drive thru's !!

Went back to same dealer and same salesman as before.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wife had a 1 series and wanted to upgrade to something bigger
What was the dealer like?
Same as first time, very friendly and profesional, returned all calls and kept us up to date with delivery etc - nice bouquet of flowers for my wife.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent to drive as most people agree. The car does have a hard ride due to the suspension and tyres, however that is why they do standard models. You dont by a sporty suspension set up for a soft ride. Dont let any audi driver tell you otherwise either, my a4 s-line was just as hard.
What's it like to park?
Easy, parking sensor are excellent

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Aluminium trim dents and marks very easily, especially off the seatbelt buckle although this was replaced under warranty. Track rod ends also replaced under warrantl after only 10,000 miles !
What's most practical about your car?
Not too practical, you need the folding seat option. Boot not a bad size but shallow.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
M sport kit makes the car look much better.
