This is the first time in all my car buying years that I have bought the same brand again.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Traded in a BMW320i automatic on a 52 plate with 80.000 on the clock.other dealers best offer was £2000 offered £2,500 plus free servicing for five years plus a good offer on run flat insurance for three years my previous car was in the £275 per year ved plus it was petrol.and the final clincher was the look of the car in sapphire black 17 inch alloys my first black car have tried every colour except silver.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Took some of my pension.and replaced my nine year old BMW which had always been fault free except for a couple of electrical problems with rear lights and the alarm which where all sorted easy.
What was the dealer like?
Very good and helpful. visited 3 garages of the same dealer two very good one was far from helpful, if you dress up in dirty jeans and a tee shirt you can wait for ages before somebody ask if you need help.if onlly this guy had known I had £25.000 cash burning a hole in my pocket.THEY DID NOT GET MY CUSTOM ,I visited another of this dealers garages and could not have been more helpful every question was asked and every requist by me was meet.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
My previous BMW 320se was the 2.2 six cylinder petrol automatic which when push was no slowcoach this is just as good the only thing I miss is the six cylinder roar when you used the kickdown the diesel is quiet and just goes .the car is quieter inside and with the black headlining cooler.Its lighter on fuel which is the first thing you notice previously around town 29/30 mpg now mid 40,s.
What's it like to park?
Its fitted with rear parking assist which I have come to rely on the front with all that plastic front I think a aftermarket kit is needed on the front. the electric power steering felt strange at first but on the motorway its not assisted when travelling in a straight line and its lighter when parking which is another benefit to me.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No .the car was a pre- registered by BMW on the 29/2/2012 on a 61 plate but its still a 2012 car.so with just 7 miles on the clock.
What's most practical about your car?
The change from petrol to diesel the drop in VED and insurance premiums plus being disabled the runflat tyres and no servicing or oil topups to worry about for five years on the servicing and three years on the tyres.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Has all the same kit almost as my previous SE model plus auto headlights rain sensertive wipers so I don,t need to switch either on my self ,the seats being sport are more hugging plus heated which my wife loves as a Volvo v70 I had all the bells and whistles so she wanted these again.
