Summary
What does this car say about you?
If you believe the documentary someone at work told me about, drivers of blue BMWs are the most aggressive on the road! That's not at all true in my opinion however - most of the time I'm trying to keep the fuel economy good!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Usually pretty impressed by it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I think I could do yes. There's a lot to like about it - even the standard model has great fuel economy, decent pace, auto-dimming RVM, etc. and the margin between BMWs/Audis/VWs of the same class is not as big as it once was. I considered the Audi last time but it just didn't feel as good.
What are you likely to buy next?
We've got a baby due soon and the current car should be fine for a while however if I change it it will probably to be to get more space - I haven't researched this class of car thoroughly yet but it could easily be another BMW or perhaps an Audi.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£15,000
When did you buy the car?
August 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think so. I spent a while watching the used car market for cars at roughly my budget and this was a good example with a few extras (int. lights, sat nav etc. due to being the business edition).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Balance of performance and fuel economy is very good for me. Quality drive and feel too.
What was the dealer like?
Pretty fair and decent.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Best car I've had.
What's it like to park?
Visibility is decent enough and because of the audio and visual reversing sensors it's probably as good as it gets for a saloon - unless it had a reversing camera which I know some BMWs do now - maybe next time.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not yet.
What's most practical about your car?
Reverse parking sensors are standard - which is a big advantage for a saloon.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Inbuilt Sat Nav gets more use than I'd imagined and I always enjoy unlocking at night since the door handle LEDs illuminate the ground where you're about to get in.
