Summary
What does this car say about you?
Probably sends out the wrong messages. Image is a bit stereotyped - thrusty overachiever
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends and family love the car. My daughter (4 1/2) thinks it's great, but says it's the wrong colour.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. I've driven about 2,500 miles in three weeks and it has been a suberb mile muncher. Good fun too.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure - I intend to keep this one for a few years.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£19,800
When did you buy the car?
February 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Excellent deal - car was the dealer's demonstrator, being sold in readiness for new 07 registration. Good deals on part exchange (Ford Focus) and finance for the car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Recieved cash allowance in lieu of a company car
What was the dealer like?
Both BMW GB and the dealer (Bowker, Preston) were extremely helpful. I found the car from BMW's website, submitted a query by email and was called by both BMW GB and the dealer very quickly - test drove the car the following day. Follow up calls from both BMW GB and the dealer to make sure everything was ok after purchase.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantastic! Very reassuring in all conditions. Refined, quiet and comfortable at a cruise, but still a faithful and fun car on a twisty road.
What's it like to park?
Good. General visibility is ok. Reverse parking sensors a revelation (first car I've owned fitted with them - I'm a convert!)
