Sits nicely alongside the Mercs, but looks better. Not heard a bad word said for it yet...

Yes its a great car, comfortable, quiet, built to last and it will.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure too eary days, I may just keep this one and run up the miles, however er in doors has heard that one before....

Yes trade in deal was good after shopping around, quite happy with outcome.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
After driving for 46 years all manner of different cars I felt it time to buy something of quality...
What was the dealer like?
Process much too long winded, far too much cross selling of products, Arrived at dealers to collect car at 10:00am. Drove car away at 13:10.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A dream, 143bhp very capable and at the same time economical. Cruise at between 70/80 on the motorway for fuel economy around 57/58. I have not been able to achieve published mpg figures of 60+ Drive it hard at it will punish your mpg figures as low as mid 40's.
What's it like to park?
Longer than most you need quite long parking bays, it would benefit from front parking assist as well as rear for my better half...

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
7,000 miles gone, no faults to report, car drives really well. Both my wife and I very pleased with it. Plenty of get up and go rather pleased I plumbed for 318 and not 320 with may have been too uch to handle in bad weather.
What's most practical about your car?
Reversing aid. Absolutely essential as rearward vision is not the best in class. Idrive very good information provider about the car, next service due, inspection, tyre pressures, engine oil level, etc Heated screen washers also excellent touch.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Auto box, terrific, why anyone would want to fiddle around with gears on todays congested roads beats me. Wife thinks auto also terrific...
