Family man who likes cars.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it still looks the part even for a 13 year old car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, the insurance and road tax aren't justifiable. I am 33 years of age, a Hgv driver with 13 years ncb and it still cost me £440, which I think is steep.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something with a less capability to empty my wallet. Being a bmw even the simplest of things can be very expensive. Something I didn't factor in when buying.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good to drive even for a tourer it handles any road. The power is very smooth, and gear changes are so refined it feels like one gear. The gear box can be very slow i.e on kick down, but I guess that's the set up.
What's it like to park?
Very easy. The parking sensors obviously help but the visibility through all the windows is good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A few things have gone wrong, both thermostats went, the front splash guard ripped off also pulling the ambient sensor which in turn meant the a/c wouldn't work.
What's most practical about your car?
The rear legroom is very good.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate control.
