BMW 3-Series Touring (2005 - 2012) 318d ES (08) 5d Owner Review

I bought a 2009 318d Touring in Zurich and drove it to Sardegna. The drive through the Swiss Alps was sublime and it handled the twisty roads, climbs and descents with aplomb. Through Italy it was quick, nimble and handled their motorway madness with sharp handling when required. It was averaging a high speed, but still after nearly 600km to Livorno it had half a tank of fuel left. Great economy, an engaging drive and perfect for long distance trips. It is now as equally at home used as a family car, fitting buggy, car-seat and all the extras with ease. It's very comfortable for every-day use as well as for long trips.
