I spent too much!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Like it. Grandkids call it the "posh" car.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, I like it but would prefer the coupe if only it fitted needs.

What are you likely to buy next?

Nothing for a while. BM's last well - our previous car is still in the family & running at 16 years old.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not particularly.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Reasonably green in terms of efficiency but still has enough power to be comfortable in traffic. handles well & has (just) enough room for golf gear/ luggage.

What was the dealer like?

Ok, but a bit snotty.

What's it like to drive?

Handles well & great on motorways/ dual carriageways. Steering light, precise & responsive. well balanced. Rear wheel drive means its a bit skiddy on ice.

What's it like to park?

Ok, the rear parking sensors help but rear visibility for reverse parking a bit restricted by headrests & pillars.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Needed new steering column (done under warranty), also electric locking went awry (also dealer sorted free).

What's most practical about your car?

Comfortable. Has, just, enough storage space although why BMW don't increase this abit is a mystery.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Love the cruise control (1st time) & the efficient dynamics but it does take geting used to - a bit odd the first time engine switches off at lights.
