Summary
What does this car say about you?
Successful and established. A practical and economical car but expensive to initially buy.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, but would have smaller wheels / larger tyres and no runflats. The economy is excellent and the comfort/equipment levels about right.
What are you likely to buy next?
Don't know, too soon...

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£23,250
When did you buy the car?
April 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
The car was like new. It had only done 4,500 miles and was still in showroom condition. Not a mark or blemish anywhere and £12,000 cheaper than new...
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Apart from the fact it was the right car (320d Touring), extremely low mileage and exactly the right trim options.
What was the dealer like?
Friendly and helpful. We were given loads of time to look and asked lots of questions that they answered as best they could. We also got a year's RFL.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Superb except does have tendency to stall if the Start/Stop decides to kick in just as you see a gap and you want to pull out quickly....
What's it like to park?
Visibility poor to the rear and sides. Parking sensors good but still a challenge to park in the dark. Reversing light could be a lot better.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. Have done 20k miles in a year and it has been faultless. Only complaint is the run-flat tyres. We had a punture and the tyre got us home just fine. But then useless and not repairable after being driven on and £275 later....
What's most practical about your car?
Smooth, comfortable and extremely safe. Had to swerve at 80mph on cruise control when lane changer on M25 crossed three lanes to avoid missing junction. Late at night, no-one else around but the car handled superbly and did not try to fishtail or slide.
