Summary
What does this car say about you?
No idea!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Generally positive comments though my dad thinks it looks like a hearse and my wife thinks the interior is dull and boring.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I am looking at upgrading to a 330d or 335d with much higher spec. Love the car in general but the engine is disappointingly underpowered.
What are you likely to buy next?
BMW 330d/335d M Sport Touring.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£16,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think the deal was fairly reasonable, I got a poor (yet expectedly so) price for my traded in 1.9TDi or something with Audi A4 Avant but on PCP over 4 years paying £252/month. Car was prestine, with nice looking 18" wheels, BMW private plate and leather.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed an estate car for family.
What was the dealer like?
Fine.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives really nicely though I was very disappointed in the car's performance given the engine capacity and on-paper credentials.
What's it like to park?
Absolutely no problem; parking sensors are well worth having.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No problems so far.
What's most practical about your car?
It fits the bulky pram in.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Nothing really springs to mind; though the parking sensors are useful. BMW are fairly lax on extras as standard and I regret not looking for a model with more options.
