Second 3 series - first was a 320i which started to fall apart after I’d done 100,000 miles in it. It felt slightly underpowered. The 330i is a dream engine. Perfect power to weight. It’s pretty tough on bad roads though. Cruising along with barely a hum from the engine, a lovely interior, excellent stereo, fabulous seats (very clunky sat nav in a 2007 car though) - and then suddenly the road opens out, the sun shines, you floor it and it takes a deep breath... all 260 horses racing forward... it’s a moment that never gets boring... Check for oil leaks - my old one ran hot and drank oil. This one is fine, fingers crossed. 4000 miles in 3 months and it’s sweet as a nut.

It will put a smile on your face every time you get into it. Everything is tight, quality and easy to use. And then you put your foot down, press through the accelerator onto the “button”, and the whole 1500kg or car gathers its skirts up, takes a deep breath, and you FLYAbout their car
