BWM used to stand out from other manufacturers due to quality, innovation and a sporting drive. I have had 14 of them, so speak with a reasonable degree of experience. Now I am wondering whether other manufacturers have caught up or is BMW not producing value for money now? My M340i touring is quite a quick, good handling and relatively comfortable car, with the advantage of an estate body as well as plenty of niceties with the options I paid for. However, there is something nagging at the back of my mind - I can’t quite put my finger on it - but it doesn’t quite give me the buzz which I expected. OK it’s a good car, but there are so many good cars about that I think I might look elsewhere for my next one.
