BMW 4-Series Coupe (2013 - 2020) 430d M Sport (Professional Media) 2d Auto Owner Review

In their own words
It really has been a superb car all round, everything I was expecting and more. Superb driving position, amazing engine (30d), fabulous thing to look at and sit in with the snapper rocks blue paintwork and ivory white interior. 8 speed auto box utterly brilliant, it's shifts are imperceptible in normal driving, or fast and snappy when putting the car through it's paces in sport mode. The ride is on the firm side, especially on these terrible UK roads, but I'd say it is more than acceptable, especially compared with the previous E92 generation I owned which was simply appalling. Once the run flats were off the 4 series improves. I've owned and driven loads of their models over the past 20 years and I would say it's close, but as an all round package it's the best. Being a 6 cylinder model it came with lots of standard equipment, I just added the 19" wheels, HK sound system and adaptive LED headlights as optional extras. The lights I added were simply for cosmetic reasons, as the LCI version really changed the look at the front of the car, making for a more aggressive style, but they also work brilliantly at night. The car has a split personality, coasting and cruising around on that wave of low down torque in comfort mode, and turns into a seriously quick car in sport and sport+. Interior space is excellent for a coupe, you can easily seat 4 adults, and the boot is a good size too. MPG 35 overall but on a motorway run I would see 50+ no problem, which considering the cars performance is frankly ridiculous. I would recommend to anyone Overall 9/10.
