This car has a deliberately sporty set up (particularly for a diesel), so the firm ride goes with the territory and is not really a valid criticism. The car is cleverly disguised as a great-looking coupe, but is really a 5-door hatchback. So it's very practical. In addition to being surprisingly quick and sporty-looking, the car is very well specified, beautifully built, amazingly economical and completely reliable. It's far from being the most expensive car I've ever owned, but is easily the best. Providing you don't mind a firm ride, and rather gloomy instruments, I recommend it unreservedly. I love it.
