BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe (2014 - 2021) 430d M Sport (Professional Media) 5d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
So prior to this 4 series, I had leased a 2018 new 430d coupe, loved it so much I thought why should I be paying this for a car that I'd have to give back, so I ended it early and bought my 2016 Gran Coupe outright to own - in a way better spec of course. Must haves spec wise: Harman Kardon/Pro Nav (Ideally go for 66 plate or newer with the updated iDrive software)/Privacy Glass/19" Alloys/Adaptive Cruise/Adaptive Suspension.
Harman Kardon is an absolute must option, sounds great & the base speakers in the standard spec is absolutely shocking. Pro nav just looks way better than the Business nav and is a wider more hi-def screen. Adaptive cruise is one I'd seriously recommend also; it just makes day-to-day driving SO easy - Rare option too. The one I bought also has Adaptive Suspension which works flawlessly, unreal comfort when in Comfort mode (even with the 19" wheels), and when you toggle it into Sport mode, the suspension stiffens alike the 'standard' M-Sport suspension, great versatility for the motorway/country roads.
All in best car I've ever owned, try and get one in black, privacy glass with 19"s as it just looks the absolute business. Made me a bmw fan for life.
Oh not to forget, I got the 430d (non-x drive) and it hits 60 in 5.3 (real world) and I can confirm when I visited the Autobahn.. It hits 160 on the clocks. 8 speed zf autobox works brilliantly too. If you get one with high miles on just be wary of whining noises - get the box serviced. Engine seems to be bulletproof.
Ensure you buy one that has FSH and you should have many trouble free miles with it.
