Understated, lover of quality...
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it looks expensive, love the standard panoramic roof and sliding rear seats, ample leg and headroom...the facelift has cleaned up the rear of the car and the new 7 series looks even more similar, but you save £25K!,.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, this is my second, I took the decision to add all the extras and they transform the car to a high tech luxury cruiser.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another one of these, it represents incredible value for money.Exclusive, most people have not seen one as they sell in tiny numbers and BMW never advertise them.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Quite a reasonable deal. My theory is UK buyers think BMW is all about performance whereas tis car is all about comfort and luxury. The car is a bargain when compared to the 7 series on which it shares its platform.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
A replacement for my 520GT SE as I wanted a high specification.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful, assisted in working through the options list and showing the features on other models in the showroom, Dick Lovett, Bristol.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It has eco, comfort and sport modes available, the 2 litre engine can be suprisingly spritely considering that this car weighs 2 tonnes. Probably one of the most comfortable cars available ( I have had several Volvo 's and this car is better than any of them for comfort).
What's it like to park?
The achiles heel...camera a necessity, the car is 5 metres long..the cameras are great, and the car will parallel park itself so the user can dial out the problem.

Have you had any problems with the car?
No, nothing, bullet proof build quality, way over designed, and not in a bad way.
What's most practical about your car?
Hatchback, sliding rear seats and ability to lie rear seats flat to turn it into an estate car..economic 2 litre engine with ad blu makes it a very clean diesel car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Head up display, adaptive LED headlights, Harmon Kardon HiFi, 360 cameras...endless joy...the extras are not gimmicks, they all work intuitively..
