BMW 5-Series Saloon 525i 4d Auto (1993/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Well, you could buy a new Korean car for the cost of a well-maintained E34.
Costs
This car just makes you press the accelerator and consume a lot of fuel; parts are rather humanly priced, even in Eastern Europe.

On the road
Driving
It's a wanna-be sportscar for a family man.
Performance
Nice, although not much torque available at low rpm.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Nice. :-) Ordinary tear-and-wear, plus some unimportant details failing.
Image
Great, everlasting design.
Comfort
Good seats and well-designed interior. 4 persons can be fitted to the rear seat. They won't be happy, but they'll fit. :-p

Security and Service
Security
Strong body for a car engineered in the middle of 1980s.
Service
I like to do-it-yourself, so I visit the dealer only for buying parts.
