BMW 5-Series Saloon 535i EH 4d Auto (1989/F) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Paid peanuts - got everything.
Costs
One of the cheaper BMWs to fix. Fuel consumption high-ish but nothing too unusual for a 3.5l auto.
-
On the road
Driving
Even the standard suspension set up handles well.
Performance
Auto box sucks the life out of the 220 BHP engine (0-60 just under 10s in auto versus 7.5s in the manual).
