What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My mates love it, wife hated it it when I brought it home but is a convert now.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. The driving and owning experience has been first class on both counts. It is virtually perfect
What are you likely to buy next?
BMW 5 series (E60) probably a 525i. But I will take the current one from 80k miles until at least 130k, it really is that good.

What was the dealer like?
don't expect much from these types of supermarkets. The prices are very good for a reason, that is they don't pay to have knowledgable staff. If you know alot about what you want this type of dealer is a good bet.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Bliss. Taut but comfortable, swift but economical (33mpg). Steering is the stand out part of the car, so precise. Also the silence at speed is eerie! I drove the wife's brand new VX Astra and I thought all the windows were open in comparison.
What's it like to park?
Parking sensors, a lazy but sensible option for a bigger car

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
some wiring replaced as a recall and wheels replaced under warranty due to corrosion. Perfect otherwise
What's most practical about your car?
I am quite tall so a large car is practical for me. The most amazing thing is the car can be a motorwaycruiser or a back road blaster in equal measure.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
cruise control is useful to keep to speed limits. Stereo controls on the steering wheel are really good safety feature. Would not buy another car without Leather and steptronic gearbox ( try counting how many times you change gear on the way to work, over 100, you should buy an auto!)
