-
Economy
Value
Car has lots of kit as standard, but then again so does any Japanese/French shopping trolley.
Costs
Surprisingly good - over 30mpg. More on the motorways.
-
On the road
Driving
Top notch - very smooth and very responsive.
Performance
It takes something with serious grunt to burn it off.
-
Living with it
Reliability
No problems yet except a couple of blown brake lights...
Image
Makes me smile every time I get in it. Still looks like new and it's coming up for 4 years old.
Comfort
Good, but seats could be better. Also, why did nobody think to put a mute button on the steering wheel?
-
Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser and alarm as standard. Biggest worry is some dullard keying it...
Service
BMW aftersales was very good - warranty is the best, but pricey.
