Head turner with the 18" M Blade alloys. The car shows success.

Everyones loves it, and the envy of many people.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. An excellent over call car. Only problem is mpg. I avg 18 mpg. (combined city and A road driving) I am more heavy on the foot than the avg driver. Car performes soo much better with 98 RON fuel.

I went to Manchester to by the car. I live in London, i believe i saved £2000 of london prices for the equivalent model and millage.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Was the perfect car for presence, performance and drivabilty

Bought Private and paid cash.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A dream to drive. Comes with M tech equipment inc suspension. Sometimes i forget its a 5 series and feels more like a 3 series around town. Definately buy the 5 series in auto. However you need this engine coupled with a manual gearbox to really engine the 3 ltr straight 6 24v engine. Perfect for the motorway... revs @ 3000rpm @ 93mph.
What's it like to park?
Very easy to park. Comes with boy front and back parking sensors. I found this car easier to park than my 1999 passat. Acceptable turning circle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I had one of my xenon ignition starters go which start and power up the zenon lights. There are 2 in total. One on each side. Cost from bmw £232 each. Luckly i picked up a second hand one off ebay USA for £40 inc delivery.
What's most practical about your car?
Automatic gearbox. First time i've own an automatic. Very smooth gear changes.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Love the auto dim rear view mirror, very helpfull at night. Zenons for clean and clear light at night (with auto leveling). BMW factory fitted tinted windows gives clean and sharp vision through the side windows.
