BMW 5-Series Saloon (2010 - 2017) 520d M Sport (07/13-) 4d Step Auto Owner Review

Still a good looking car in 2023, had a few issues water pooling in rear footwells then the boot both caused by bad seals , I drive used to randomly just reboot taking 5 mins a time not very handy if using sat nav , had egr recall 3 days later new egr failed but dealer very good it’s a fantastic car to drive if not a little dull , the interior is a bit plain as are most German rivals too have had an A6 , E350 and about 4 , 5 series and the bmw is the best of the 3 in my opinion it’s a good mix of all saloon car ideals . Timing chains are an issue across all engines 2.0 and the 3.0 despite what some forums will tell you . Buy the best one you can , with the best history you can and find a good independent garage and I don’t think you will go far wrong
