I don't buy a car for status (badge snobbery), I buy a car because of how they drive and how they look. Let others judge if they wish.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves it ... its look, comfort, cruising ability, road handling ... mostly its looks.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely. If money allowed, I'd buy a 530d, or even a 535, understated supercar abilities. Best car I've ever owned.
What are you likely to buy next?
BMW 530d/535d or 330d/335d.

Was introduced through a friend, so was treated as a regular customer.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Always wanted a BMW 5 series, the 520d was the most sensible engine option.
What was the dealer like?
Very professional, accommodating and the showroom was a nice place to be.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Superb to drive Comfortable Extremely quick for a 2 litre diesel Many reports of poor handling without active suspension and road noise due to run flat tyres - I've experienced neither - in fact the M Sport handling (non active) is a dream.
What's it like to park?
Simples - sensors with a useful display keep parking scrapes at bay, along with a good steering lock makes manoeuvring easy.

Nothing
What's most practical about your car?
The overall size weekends camping 4 people across europe for a week university moves for 2 daughter boot size is huge for a saloon.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Dynamic driving options, Eco mode - comfort - sport Each option is very different I mostly use Eco, but do enjoy sport in the lanes.
