Summary
What does this car say about you?
More money than sense I guess. especially the tyres which average out at £250 a corner on the 19" rims.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it. Interior smacks of high quality and everyone wants a go.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Again low mileage used car from dealer seems the best option. Only problem being you have the options already fitted and nothing further so there is always a compromise somewhere unless you get exactly the car you want at the time. BMW are getting better with standard fit options but are still a little bit tight on somethings.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably another 520. Had a good look at the Jag XF this time and was impressed. Ever so slightly cheaper than the 520 but lost out to less space. But I really liked it.

Not bad but was offered similar deals by competitors with trade in for old 520.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Just had warranty claim on previous 520 and trade in was at its best.
What was the dealer like?
Pretty good this time around used different main dealer BMW.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very smooth and the stop start tec works well. Fuel economy is easily in the 50's about town. 8 speed auto makes very good progress and cruise control is very good.
What's it like to park?
Big and bulky no rear camera but sensors front and back which you come to rely on. High curbs need to be watched for.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No only a few months use but covered nearly 5k miles.
What's most practical about your car?
Size. Bigger than the old model and although leg room is not class leader it is adequate for us.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Prof Nav system including HD to down load CD's etc. This came with vehicle so not a chosen option for us but very good to use. Though it is eye warteringly expensive as an option on new car.
