BMW 5-Series Saloon (2010 - 2017) 520d SE 4d Step Auto Owner Review

Great car, does everything well . Could do with folding rear seats sometimes if I’m being critical . It’s an early model so some of the tech is a bit behind , DAB radio and music streaming would be nice but not a deal breaker for me . Economy is brilliant , never do I have to consider how much a journey will cost because I know it will be about as good as it gets for this class of car . Performance is enough although I would consider a 3.0l next time and forfeit a bit of economy for a bit more go but it’s no slouch , or even 525 to keep the economy but give a little more go . That said it depends what you want from a car ,it’s not under powered and it’s certainly not slow , I just enjoy a bit of fun occasionally. In summary I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a car in this class .
