I have owned several different 5 series previously, had this one just over a year now. As with those before it's such a competent car. Good ride (when you ditch the runflats), excellent handling and road holding. 6 cylinder diesel is refined and quick, yet still returns 42 mpg average, and 52+ on a run. Superb build (better than my F31 3 series) and plenty of space. Mine has over 6k worth of options but still feels less well specified than an equivalent Audi, Mercedes or Jaguar. My only slight compliant is that the standard SE seats don't have a large amount of adjustment, I would recommend the sports or comfort seats.
