it is simply the best car I have ever owned. Only downside it is maybe slightly larger than I need but performance and MPG and driver comfort have been superb. Now diesel has been demonised next car will have to be a more inefficient petrol or a damn plug in !
An Amazing car that Clarkson himself said is the most perfect car ( in touring guise).
How reliable do you find the car?
no mechanical issues whatsoever after 23,500 miles in 18 months.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
after a 2 litre diesel mercedes then 2 x 3 series BMW 2.0 diesels I was wary of the jump to a 3 litre. It returns then same MPG on long motorway runs as the 2.0d BMW. For June 2024 my BMW app claims 56.5mpg average with a high of 68.9 mpg on my most efficient trip. I do a lot of long motorway journeys. Even taken with a pinch of salt if the reality is 50mpg and 60mpg that is still amazing for this car.
