BMW 6-Series Coupe (2011-2018) verdict
Updates for 2015
The 6-Series received an update in 2015 which included small revisions to the styling, improved engine efficiency and more equipment available as standard.
Crucially for keeping tax costs low, CO2 emissions have also been reduced to as low as 139g/km on the 640d SE Coupe.
BMW has fitted each of the new models with its latest ConnectedDrive navigation and infotainment package with head-up display plus LED lights now illuminate the footwells, door openings and glovebox as standard.
Full LED headlights are also available as standard while the M Sport’s leather dashboard and contrast stitching is now a standard feature across the range plus all petrol models feature a sports exhaust system.
A range of safety features are available as options including Active Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and Pedestrian and Collision Warning.
Will the new 6 Series be the choice for the enthusiast? Can the BMW top the sector with its longer dimensions and sleeker profile or has increased comfort compromised its driveability?
