BMW 7-Series 730i SE 4d Auto (1992/J) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
35k car for £500! Excellent spec, still looks classy, sturdy and durable; awesome.
Costs
Don't like paying for anything, but costs are pretty low even from independents.

On the road
Driving
Unbelievable for such a big motor, but beware of oversteer, these cars love to dance!
Performance
Not overly powerful but can shovel on at some speeds. Howls like a scolded wolf and drives superb. Tail happy in the wet.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Typical solid German tank, wonderfully poised and stable engineering.
Image
People still see the E32 as somewhat of a classy cruiser.
Comfort
Excellent ride, nice and quiet even on the Yorkshire roads!
-
Security and Service
Security
Could definitely use a thatcham 1 A&I.
Service
Pretty helpful but expensive.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Sweet as a lollipop, radiator switch has gone, been bypassed, starts & runs fine!
Other
Climate control panel slightly loose and OBC display is knackered but all can be rectified for a pittance. The trip computer won't reset and the fuel gauge wont make its mind up what it wants to do!
