BMW i8 (2014 - 2020) Pure Impulse Design Pack 2d Auto Owner Review

Owned lots of cars including Ferrari, Maserati, Golf R, Audi RS6 etc and this car has a great balance. I can give my 3 kids and two are 6”2 a lift to the pub, yes in the back is a squeeze but there is more room than you imagine. No boot but the back seats means there is loads of baggage space.

It’s fast enough, especially at overtaking, its fun to drive without having to average over 120mph on a country road - so you can enjoy and not be worried about going to jail.

Insurance £340 fully comp protected ! Electric regeneration means even disc and pads last longer, servicing every 2 years and zero road tax!

Think the depreciation is largely a historical issue in that the cars are now quite cheap.

I find it easy to get in and out, but you pick up anyone overweight they wlll crawl out - which is always entertaining!
