Value
I wouldn't buy one! But I am leasing this for a mere £299 + VAT a month! And that is a great price for such a car, I had a Mondeo that cost more.
Costs
As the first 4x4 I've owned, the first auto and the first over 2 litres, 23mpg is hard to get used to! But still good I suppose for an automatic off-roader that weighs nearly two tonnes.

Driving
For a 4x4, a surprisingly car-like drive. Little body roll, good steering, it has a hard ride which is the offset, although for me personally I am not worried.
Performance
Reasonable for the size of engine, but needs to drop cogs on motorway hills.

Living with it
Reliability
Faulty steering sensor at delivery meant a yello light and a trip to BMW. Sorted without issue though to high standards.
Image
A 4x4 BMW is going to be disliked by most drivers!
Comfort
Comfortable leather seats, refined except when at high revs when it can get a bit loud. The firm ride will upset some.

Security and Service

It hasn't been broken into yet!

The car was arranged by OSV leasing who were very good.
