Did you get a good deal and why?
No. Dealer said it was immaculate but when I arrived after a 5 hour journey found the wheels were scuffed and also a few scatches he failed to mention.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Thought I needed a 4x4 and the space.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's ok. I live in a very hilly area so the auto can be very annoying as it senses you going down hill and will keep changing down when really there is no need.
What's it like to park?
Easy enough with front and rear sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Very thirsty and not as fast as you think it would be for a 3 litre petrol. Within a month a need new water pump and thermo housing. Also the DME packed in. Very costly. The X3 is not put together as well as other BMW models by far.
What's most practical about your car?
Boot space. Ease of access.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Front parking sensors.
