If you want a so called " Blow Out car " buy a Black 4.8 M Sport with all the toys and sports exhaust. It' a great car, so much fun, sound and prestige. Fuel consumption is reasonable too, I managed 26.6 on motorway and an average of around 22. Bags of room and safe as houses, need to be wary of size though, small it's not. So far no major problems and all spares and service items cheap enough through the usual sources. Had a couple of dealings with main dealer and service from BMW has been great. At present nothing to complain about, feel good factor every time it's driven.
How reliable do you find the car?
Engine oil leaks, fixed by new rocker cover gaskets. Washer jets just a trickle out of them, cleared blockage all ok. Low battery voltage from purchase with associated problems, new battery solved everything.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Love driving it at all times, keep finding new things on it still. Fantastic drive, gives me a lot of confidence. Well happy with it.About their car
