CONS
M3 has similar performance and more practicality
BMW Z3 M Coupe (98-02) rivals
Overview
Something of an oddball BMW. It follows no model lineage and wasn’t replaced when killed off, but what a wonderful hiccup in the corporate product line. The M Coupé housed the cracking straight six engine from the M3 in a smaller body based upon the two seat Z3. If you’re after a performance car that looks like nothing else, and goes like the clappers but think a TVR will let you down, then this is the car for you.
Not for the faint hearted, but they’ll probably be scared off by the looks any way.
