What is miles per pound?
Fuel economy
A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test.
Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 25 - 35 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Convertibles always hold their values well and the Z3, with its BMW badge is no exception. Insurance is a bit steep, but other costs are acceptable unless you get the fuel-drinking, tyre-smoking M Roadster.
Z3 was built in America rather than Germany, but reliability has proven to be every bit as good as that of other BMWs so as long as the servicing is maintained, there shouldn’t be a problem.
