Economy
Value
Pay a lot for the badge, but every aspect of it is superior to other models in its class. The extras are worth every penny.
Costs
Getting about 30 miles to the gallon on average, but parts and labour with BMW is a bit on the steep side. However, its a BMW what did you expect?

On the road
Driving
Swift, responsive and lively. Great fun with traction control on - switch it off and it's mental!
Performance
Six-pot engine note is perfect - one of the best I've ever heard. You've really got to work the engine to get the best out of it, but push it and it flys. Masses of torque.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Bomb proof - other manufacturers take note.
Image
Despite being one of the older styled roadsters now on the road, you won't believe how many heads it still turns. And then the engine roars.
Comfort
Just done a 400-mile round trip in it with the missus and both loved it. Room in the boot for golf clubs or suitcase. If you want to get anything else in don't buy a sports car.

Security and Service
Security
No bother so far - touchwood.....
Service
Service staff couldn't be more helpful. Last two times I've been in they've lent me a Z4 and an M3 for the day.
