initially I thought this was too much to live with but 11 years on it is still going well. it is compromised but worth it. I have never got used to the stiff suspension but still persist with the run flats. Driving anything else now feels like sailing a yacht. The boot is small but perfectly formed. Golf clubs and my trolley fit with enough room left for a squishy bag. I just about fit myself but have worn away the roof lining with my dandruff.(185cm and 116kg.) Winter tyres essential as I have 360'ed in slow motion a few times on ice/snow. Needs attention while driving. You can't toodle down the motorway half asleep as it is a bit nervous. Tramlines on certain surfaces. Is fast enough for anyone.
How reliable do you find the car?
Rear suspension repair under warranty. Handbrake repair under warranty. Water pump replaced at 80k. Window and mirror controls died due to water ingress(use the window washers with the window open and the water drips onto the drivers controls). Misfire cured by backstreet BMW specialist(injectors). Brake lines + suspension bushes replaced at 120kAbout their car
