It’s not a complete success – while it’s good to drive the ride is overly firm and the cabin can start to feel cramped over longer distances.

But it is good looking and fairly practical too with a decent-sized boot and good standard levels of equipment. However it’s not cheap and there are some strong alternatives to choose from including the Porsche Cayman and Audi TT.
